Nikon 28mm f/2 Reviews

This is Nikon's best 28mm, period. As good as the 28/2.8 AI-S is... the 28/2.0 AI-S is even better. World quality optics and build--no compromises.

This lens is better than the 28 F2.8 AIS, especially if you shoot landscapes. The near-far sharpness is extremely better. No flare or ghosting, which I love. Nikon did very well on their 28mm wide angle lenses. I wish I could say the same about their 24mm lenses, which is the focal length I prefer. Much too much flare in those lenses. The 28mm F2 is magnificent.
