Pentax lens development roadmap details new models yet to be announced

Of the four lenses, three are designed for use on Pentax APS-C format digital SLR cameras, the remaining lens is for the recently announced Pentax medium format digital camera.

The three lenses designed for use on Pentax APS-C format digital SLR cameras are:

• DA 70mm f/2.4 (expected around October, 2006)
• DA 16-50mm f/2.8 (expected around December, 2006)
• DA 50-135mm f/2.8 (expected around December 2006)

The medium format lens also included in the document is:

• D-FA 55mm f/2.8 (expected by the end of 2006)
