Decent Wide or Telephoto for cheap.

Hi, I'm new to this and don't have much cash at all.

Can anyone reccomend a wide lens or a telephoto lens for the canon 400d?

This might sound insane but I really can't go above 100.

Any advice would be appriciated.

well the kits lens canon 18-55mm sounds like a good one, taking your budget in consideration. :D
