Nikon 80-400 vs Sigma 50-500
I am going on a photo safari soon and am looking for a long zoom lens to use with my D-80. Is the Nikon with VR worth the extra money over the Sigma? I have read mixed revies about the use of the VR and the slowness of the AF in the Nikon. I'll have to use either lens with at most a monopod but probably have to use a bean bag or some such from a Landrover.
