Compatible lense for Pentax K-AF2 mount

By: manila76 6391 days ago
Hello there.

I am from Manila, Philippines.

I have a Pentax camera (ZP-50) with K-AF2 mount. My current lense is a 30-200mm telephoto pentax AF.

I am thinking of buying another lense (hopefully wide angle or macro) but not necessarily a pentax.

I checked the 'Lens Search' of this site but there is no mention of the K-AF2 on the filter list.

Would you folks know of any lense compatible with K-AF2? or any site where I could check their catalog so that when i buy on the shops here I could specifically ask for it?

Thanks.

The AF mounts for pentax are:

KAF - standard AF mount will taker all MF and AF lenses

KAF2 - adds support for Power Zoom lenses

Some models have a "crippled" AF mount that will mean you must use a lens with an "A" setting on the aperture ring, because the camera controls the aperture.

Check out all such details on the forums at www.pentaxuser.co.uk and you will find detailed answers there.
