A very stunning lens. When used on APS-C it's wonderfully sharp, and chromatic aberration seems to be just a sliver, but rarely. No lens distortion that I've noticed, yet. The only problem is, is that I should have got this a long time ago.

I also own CZ planar 50 1.4. I cannot see much different in the result of the two. I actually prefer Minolta since it has auto focus.

Small and sharp lens that becomes 75mm on maxxum 7D. Its MTF data compares well against 85mm f/1.4 and 100mm f/2 lenses for its price.
