It's a heavy lens, about 3 kg (I use it with a Manfrotto monopod), medium-slow AF gear, it's very sharp between f/4 and f/11 (some soft at f/2.8, and some CA at f/16 and f/22 in special light conditions) and it's a long life lens, very well built. I bought it almost new brand.
