I've owned the lens more than 20 years. I prefer it to the autofocus version. I believe it produces sharper images.

Have had a couple of these lenses since 1998. Both AI versions. Nice lenses. About equivalent to the 50f2.

I've owned mine for about twenty-two years .Very sharp , light , and small ,lives on my FM-2 .
