A superb lens. Based on the old FD design and all the better for it. Surpisingly fast at f2.8, the non-USM focussing doesn't seem much of a handicap on this lens, with it great depth of field. Edge-to-edge sharpness is remarkable for its design and flare is very well controlled. Highly recommended for full frame cameras.
