This is one of the best wide-angle lens ever produced for 35mm photography. It is tack sharp up to the corners wide open or closed to f11. This is a unique feature. Distortion is non-existent, colours saturated, bokeh perfect.
The only major drawback is vignetting, as it is a nearly symmetrical design and the law of physics cannot be circumvented. For very serious work with slide film I would recommend a centre-filter, but for Leica M8 and other digital RFs nothing is required as one can correct this with software. I have compared this lens with Leica nad Voigtlander optics and it shines. Add your reviewLogin required
