Vivitar 28-105mm f/2.8-3.8 Series 1 Reviews

Mine is the 67mm filter version, reckoned the best,so my rating will be higher than the 72mm specified. It's in pristine condition with no zoom creep, and with beautiful build,is a joy to handle. Images at f5.6 are good to very good, far better than the 1.9 rating for the tested version. Images shot on an E-1 dslr have a slight gold/green cast, but minimal pp editing and sharpening gives images nearly as good as my excellent ZD Zuikos. Recommended if you get a good 67mm lens, and like manual functions.
