Tamron SP 300mm f/2.8 LD (IF) Reviews

Simply a fantastic prime lens. I attach it to my Pentax film camera with an Adaptall-II P/KA adapter. All AE functions work very well. I simply adjust focus with the help of my left hand's ring finger. Of course it is quite heavy like all other similar lenses so handheld operation is quite limited. I obtained fantastically sharp and contrasty results with this lens. I haven't noticed neither major color aberration errors nor vignetting even working full frame (film) with this lens. More than perfect for the amount of money paid.
