An amazing lens for the money. Superb construction albeit a bit heavy. Wonderful colors and detail and always sharp. Works best at the long end, but still very sharp at the low end. No distortion or CA to speak of in my tests. I highly recommend this lens if there's only one lens you have to take to that concert, ball game, zoo, wherever.

After debating it for awhile, I finally procured one. Glad that I did. I immediately burned two rolls of film with it. I then glassed (10x loupe and light table) and the negs are very sharp, good contrast, etc. I highly recommend this lens.
