Tamron AF 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 Di-II LD Aspherical (IF) Macro Reviews

The lens was purchased for a Alaska vacation and I was not disappointed in the least in the results on my Fuji-film S5. This super zoom can handle almost anything I could throw at it. I did not notice any real optical problems, and the overall construction is better than the Nikon zoom that I originally purchased for the trip and returned (to much lens slop). Since then I have only added a Nikon 50 mm 1.8 lens to the line up, but rarely use it. Bottom line if I had to do it all over again I would buy this lens again and over the 18-200 Nikon lens. It is a keeper.
