Olympus Zuiko 85-250mm f/5 Reviews

This is a wonderful lens, I used to use it for photojournalism, sport and event photography. The extra 50mm in the zoom range was very useful for candid work and separating the subject from the background when wide open. The build quality is excellent, all metal, built in lens hood, fixed aperture at all focal lengths and a tripod collar as standard. Image quality was very good.
things I didn't like about it-
its a very long and heavy lens, but this is largely due to its build quality and the extra large zoom range, this doesn't make it a great everyday carry around lens. It was a bit slow as-well, I was shooting a lot of slide at the time, and to freeze action in less than ideal lighting conditions, an extra stop could have been of help.
