Nikon DX Fisheye 10.5mm f/2.8G Reviews

This lens produce very sharp, high contrast and rich colour image. A "must buy" item for Nikon DSLR.
The only weakness is the purple edge of image... but it is inevitable for fisheye lens.

This lens is a bit of a "gimmick" lens. The shape and look of the photos is great, and it garners a lot of interest from those looking at my photos.

However, I don't agree that it's sharp. For example, when I take pictures at a baseball stadium, the scoreboard is not sharp, it's a bit fuzzy.

Mine is extraordinarily sharp. Yes, the CA can be a problem in some light. But I don't know of a fisheye that doesn't suffer from that. Thirty seconds in ACR fixes it. Very tiny - easily fits in your pants pocket. Lots of people lose interest in the effect though so it's easy to find them used. Avoid over use and save it for the times when nothing else will do and you'll never get tired of it.
