Nikon 35mm f/2 Reviews

My lens is the original Nikkor-O version. A bit susceptible to flare, but very contrasty, and with good color rendition. Have actually owned four of these. Replaced my original due to a botched AI conversion. Current lens is factory AI'd.

This is a great little lens that is particularly useful for low-light situations. It's a FANTASTIC walk-around lens as well. I used it extensively in a studio doing product photography in conjunction with my D3, as it offered the best focal distance in the limited space I was working in. After extensive use, I could see that it's not tack-sharp like some of the high-end Nikkor lenses, but it still performed fairly well; and it's a great price.

Nikon's 35/2.0 AI-S offers world-quality optics and build at bargain prices. A no-excuses, professional lens.
