Nikon 24mm f/2 Reviews

Better than 24mm f/2.8 AIS, very closed to 35mm f/1.4.

Bought this lens new with an F3 body in 1984 when my F2as and beloved 24mm f2.8 were stolen. Right away, I noticed soft corners that were awful wide open, and still noticeable with a lupe stopped down. I returned it to Nikon and they replaced it. The new lens was better, but still not acceptable. I returned it and got another f2.8, which was and still is a stellar lens. I know others who agree. Advice? Look for a 24mm f2.8. You'll pay less and get a far better lens.
