Minolta AF 28-135mm f/4-4.5 Reviews

The only issue is flare - could be better controlled. Fringing is visible but at least acceptable (far better then e.g. KM 18-70). Good performer on digital body.

Another classic from Minolta. This lens far exceeds the hype surrounding it. Due to its large unprotected front element good copies are getting harder to find. Image quality is superb, second only to G lenses. Contrast is somewhat more pronounced than in 28-70G or 80-300G. Sharpness, color, bokeh are great. Build quality is good for its price. A modern alternative to this lens is 24-105D which is more suitable for digital bodies with 1.5x crop, but its not in the same league.
