I've owned the version IV (often called the "Bokeh King" for about 2 years.

It's almost "welded" to my M6 and is the one lens that I always bring along.

Although not as sharp and contrasty as the current ASPH version, the ability of this lens will, in most cases, surpass that of the photographer.

A wonderful lens. It is always always on my M6, and more recently, M8. On either camera it delivers outstanding results over a wide variety of situations. Very low flare, sharp, smooth, good contrast, and small and light. It's small size helps to create a small camera/lens combo that attracts little attention, making for a less fear-provoking camera than the giant SLR that the M8 replaced.

More than a wide angle, just the perfect lens and great combination with M cameras. Mine never "leaves" its M6. Covers all my needs for street scenes and landscape. Portrait in situation is just so easy with this focal length.
Would recommend this lens to everyone without a single "but"...
