Folk's, this is a sad story, alas,I once owned this medium zoom of incomparable quality, and was consequently a happy camper. Then one day I awoke to discover that my Contax camera attached to my favorite lens had died during the night.Actually, come to think of it,it was late afternoon near Mt. Misery.No big deal I thought, it's an old camera I'll get a new one.I soon came to realize that Contax had silently, stealthily, dare I say ,quietly on purpose, gone out of business for express desire of rendering my prized optic useless, and myself like Mt.Misery,mirthless. All I would like to say in closing is if you have a camera to put this lens on, do it ,and Kyocera, go to copier Purgatory.
