A truly great lens. Solid and balanced. Mechanically perfect, the built-in lens shade is great. Optics are astoningshly good. Each print/slide let your jaw literally drop.

Sharp, sharp, sharp. Especially good with the Kodachrome color palette. I use this lens with my last hord of Kodachrome ISO 25.

I've owned 2 of these and have found both disappointing. 16" B&W prints lack the bite I've come to expect from my other CZ lenses. The main problem is poor contrast - have to use MG 3.5 or 4 to come near to expectations, and then it's got that unsubtle over processed look.
I use it mainly at med/long distance. Close up it seems a lot better.
