This is a top performing lens, the difference to the famous and impressive Zeiss Tessar 2.8/35 ("Adlerauge") of my Yashica T3 PS-camera is amazing. Contrast, resolution, and colour saturation are to the highest standards,

The german magazine Colorfoto gave 84/100 Points in total (with 29/30 for contrast, the top score at this time of all tested lenses until then). I bought it in near mint condition for for EUR 20 due to stiff blades - the repair took only EUR 30!

A truly great lens. Altough tiny, it's solid and light. Optics are astoningshly good. Each print/slide let your jaw literally drop.

Top lens - but be carefull. I had a West German version with Rollei mount that I adapted to Canon EOS. I tried 3 adaptors and none could get to infinity so I had one machined down untill it was OK. Big aggro, just to find it was a poor lens.
I have just obtained a Japanese version with the C/Y mount and what a cracker it is. It is useable at full f2.8 corner to corner sharp picking out all the details of an electrical pylon about 2.5 killometres away, right in the corner of the picture. It also reaches infinity, spot-on with the EOS adaptor. I think your score of 4 is a bit low, however the W. German I had would have struggled to score a 3. Expect to pay around £100 or £200 in shops
