One of the best Canon lenses around. a bit heavy but it worth every gr it loads your neck.

My workhorse. I have used it professionally for weddings, sports, portraits, wildlife, and newspaper work since 1998. I have abused it, dropped it and taken a hell of a lot of pictures with it. In the thousands. I use it on a 1.6 SLR with a Canon 2X extender now and have won awards for in flight wildlife pictures. It has outlasted at least six cameras. It is sharp fast, a a boat anchor around my neck but I still use it more than any other lens. I think it will outlast six more cameras.
