Canon EF 50mm f/1.2L USM Reviews

This is now one of my most used lenses! It practically lives on my 5D. It is alot more practical for a walk-around than the 85L but has alot of the great aspects of that lens. It is sharp even wide open.It is sharper at f1.2 than the 50 1.4 is at f1.4! It focuses faster than the 85L but not as fast as the 35L. The focus is a tad more accurate than the 85L. It is solidly constructed and has excellent fit and finish. The color/contrast rendition is excellent (similar to the 85L but better than the 501.4). If you need a fast portrait prime on a crop camera or a wider prime for group portraits on a FF dont hesitate!
