Canon EF 14mm f/2.8L II USM Reviews

On a 1DS Mk3 this lens is stunning. Undetectable distortion for landscapes, vignetting seems no more than about the theoretical minimum. The detail capture is pleasing, and CA seems enough under control that 17x 24 prints look near perfect. However, it is not as sharp as the 24-70 L, and has not quite the contrast either. Nevertheless, on a big sensor, it can replace a tilt-shift for architectural stuff just fine by cropping out the bottom half.
