Canon EF 135mm f/2.8 SF Reviews

I have used this lens for about 6 years now and have really learned to appreciate its stong points; Ideal focal length for subject distance, bright f 2.8 gives quick focusing with no hunting, and outstanding out of focus
backgrounds. It has just the right amount of sharpness for any application.
I don't use the soft feature, not my thing.

The thing that amazes me about this lens is how well it captures skin tones and still have imaculate sharpness. Dispite its focal length I find this to be one of my favorite portrait lenses (along with the 85mm f1.8, 50mm f1.8 and Tamron 28-105mm f2.8).
This lens sells for give-away-prices and I guess due to the unquestionable fame of its focal length sibling goes unappreciated. For the value and IQ I think this is Canon's best kept secret.
